Become a Trained Peer Group Facilitator

Group facilitator training is a 3-day in person experience held at the Mental Health America of Indiana Stanley W. DeKemper Training Institute. Training is conducted by the creator of Alternatives to Suicide Groups, Caroline Mazel-Carlton. This training will teach the framework and guiding principles to provide a safe, inclusive, healing space. Trainings are offered 1-2 times annually through the Training Institute. IAPRSS Statewide Monthly Networking Call

Indiana Alternatives to Suicide peer group facilitators can connect on the 3rd Thursday of every month from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. EST. This will be a time for facilitators to share various aspects of running an Alternatives to Suicide support group in their community.
